Camp hosts a great variety of groups, from home-schooled kids to weavers to youth work camps, to church groups, to men’s and women’s retreats to family reunions. Any and all groups using Camp Myrtlewood are welcome to list their events here. Email the webmaster with the language you'd like posted, or simply add a comment about your event.

Memorial Day Work Weekend

A tradition at Camp for many years, the Memorial Day Work Weekend is a time for friends of Camp to gather and help with many tasks around the grounds.

Preliminary notes: The list of "to do" stuff that people volunteer for is developed by the managers. John and Margaret have just arrived back from Europe and will be working on this in a few weeks. There is always room for gardeners. Stuff needs to be pruned, dug up, etc. all the time. Then there are muscle jobs, e.g., splitting, hauling, stacking wood. Some jobs are housekeeping and cleaning in nature. Finally, there are usually one or more light carpentry projects.
