Hubble photo of "empty space"

Hal Sheller shared this image with us during the service Sunday morning at the end of Family Camp. This image is an eleven-day exposure taken by the Hubble space telescope of an area of space 1/100 the area of the moon. The area normally appears black and empty.

Every object in this photo is a galaxy, composed of anywhere from hundreds of thousands to billions of stars.
